御今学堂开办一年多来，不仅出现了“半年英语水平突破”的例子，其中一位六岁半的孩子在没有任何英语基础前提下，仅仅用了四个多月的时间就能将英语发音、基本的英语情节在众多家长面前自如地表演。虽然我们看来，这个孩子的语感还有很大的问题，但已经给在座的家长很大的震撼。这说明，能不能把握住“英语学习之道”非常关键，看似轻松的英语学习安排，却可以得到很有效的成果。有些家长在来学堂“取经”，想得到我们的具体做法，可是，方法是服务于思路的，孩子的基础、心态、兴趣和爱好等都决定了不可能“死板”地按照一个固定方式来做，我们会根据需要调整内容、方法甚至时间和进度，正因为不拘于方法，灵活多变地操作，如今学习了一年多的孩子不仅可以轻松地掌握英语场景的“义”，还可以为动画片清晰地配音、表演。基于现在的学习状态和吸收能力，我们相信他在三年之后，也就是十岁之前可以达到自如应用英语的水平。以下是Peppa Pig 的第一集的表演，孩子们可以多角色或是单独配音每一集，这也是他们最喜欢的一种学习方式：在配音、表演当中体会角色，感受英语语言的运用。
想想看，如果我们仅仅是抓住了英语学习的思路，就可以为孩子节约将来学英语的巨量时间，那些时间将用来学习思维、懂得人性、文化和有兴趣的东西，这对于他的全面成长多么有益。
